Exciting Sneak Peek Of New Stampin' Up Product!

I am SO excited to share with you some of our new Stampin' Up products which will be available June 3rd!

This first card features the gorgeous Gold Hoops, as well as new in-colours Just Jade & Magenta Madness. These gold hoops will be so much fun to experiment with and I have already seen some AMAZING samples with them.

I have kept the background and layout simple on this card so that the gold hoop can really be the hero of the card. The tin tile embossing folder creates enough interest in the background to tie everything together nicely.

To purchase these new products head over to my online shop HERE on June 3rd.

His & Hers Cards!

Hey Guys! Welcome back to my bog!

Today I am sharing with you a new concept I'll be working with on my Blog and YouTube channel moving forward. Its called 'His & Hers' and the basic concept is where I take a feminine card I have made, and recreate the same design but in a masculine version.

I've had a bit of a realisation lately that almost ALL of my cards are feminine, and I do not make enough masculine cards. Then when it comes time to send a card to a male, I don't have any available to quickly just write and send. We are probably all guilty of this, am I right???

So in an effort to produce more masculine cards, and to be able to get double duty out of my supplies I will be demonstrating how to switch things up and create both a 'His & Hers' version of my cards.

The first in the series is below. I chose the bright watercolour card which was using the Timeless Tropical set, copied the same layout and created the Star Wars themed card for my Nephew's birthday.

I hope you enjoy the new series!

Saying Goodbye To Some Of My Favourite Retiring Products!

Over the past couple of weeks I have been playing with some of my favourite products which will be retiring after June 2.

Head over to my YouTube channel to see some of these created via video tutorials! And as always, click on the 'SHOP WITH ME' menu option to purchase Stampin' Up products from me!

This first card features the First Frost Stamp Set. This set is a 'Distinkive' stamp set which produces the most amazing images with shading built in with only one stamped image. For the background, I have created the stripes with Stampin' Blends, its so effective and you can do this in any colour combo you like! Obviously I had to finish off with some sparkle with wink of stella!

Next I showcase the stunning Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp. This is so fun to use and it is so relaxing to sit and colour the image with whichever colouring medium you prefer! I kept the layout of this card simple so that the gorgeous floral image could shine.

Accented Blooms is another old favourite of mine which is retiring. Again, this set is so good for colouring. It coordinates with the Tailored Tag punch which is great for quick and easy card making! I went for a grungy look this time by scrunching up the layer of DSP in the background. This adds easy texture and interest to the card.

The Abstract Impressions set is one that will be sorely missed. This set is THE BEST!! You can create whatever sort of floral scene you like in any colour combo! This time I used the simple stamping concept so that I could allow the beautiful stamps to be the hero.

Varied Vases is my next featured favourite. Another very versatile set which can create beautiful cards for any occasion. Such a beautiful set.

How cute is this next card featuring the Piece of Cake stamp set and punch?! This set can be used to create Engagement/Wedding cards as well as Birthday and general celebratory cards.  I have used a fun colour combo on this one with the 'b-side' of Painted Poppies DSP.

Finally, I created a sample with the Pop of Petals set and coordinating punch. Another bright happy colour combo on this all occasion card.

Happy Mothers Day!

Today is a beautiful day because it's Mothers Day!

I get to celebrate my own wonderful Mother, as well as celebrating the beautiful gift I have been given of being a Mother myself!

This card was created for a Mothers Day swap, the recipient told me their favourite colours are Pink & Purple so of course it had to be the Lily Pad Lake stamp set right?? haha..

I love the stripy image on the Lily Pad Lake stamp set. It's intended use is to create water, but as you can see it creates AMAZING backgrounds in any colour.

Kylie's International Blog Highlights!

Hello Everyone!

Today is a SUPER exciting day for me as I am taking part in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights for the first time!

The theme for the blog highlights this month is THANK YOU.

We are going through very unusual times at the moment across the world, and although we are all so grateful for those who are working hard, or to our family and friends for their support during this time - we often forget to actually express our gratitude.

It's so easy to make a card and send a card to thank those who have helped, supported or inspired you, and it will make the world of difference in brightening the recipients day!

For my entry, I have made this card featuring the Music From The Heart Stamp Set.

The colours I have used are Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick. Firstly I heat embossed the sentiment and images in shimmery black embossing powder, and then I've water-coloured a bit of a rainbow background.

Embellished with some glittered organdy ribbon, pineapple punch grosgrain ribbon. and a home made tassel with the black bakers twine.

Throw in a hint of silver glimmer paper a few silver rhinestones and there we have a fabulously bright and happy thank you card!

I hope you like this card - if you do please vote for me in the gallery!
