I attended the OSR Spring Retreat!

Over the weekend I had the privilege of attending the OSR Spring Retreat which was hosted by the amazing Kylie Bertucci and Lisa Curcio!

The retreat was a wonderful way to relax and create with likeminded crafty friends from all over the world. There were live crafting tutorials by Lisa and her daughter Gina, as well as Kylie and her husband Bruno. All of the projects demonstrated were incredible!

Here are a couple of cards I created during the event.

The tulip card was designed and demonstrated by Kylie and I just love the little pop-out planter box - such a cool way to use the dies from the Stampin' Up 'Tulips Dies'. Kylies card had an extra card opening on the back, however I decided to add the two smaller white panels to the inside of the card instead.

The next card was designed and demonstrated by Gina, except Gina used the 'You're a Peach Suite' so her card was quite different to mine! I kept the same fun-fold card design but switched out the DSP and stamp set to create this super adorable Ladybug card.

Card Making with Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack!

The Abstract Beauty suite is SO much fun to play with! I have been creating cards with the Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes as well as the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack. I absolutely love the bright happy colours and designs.

The cards & envelope pack together with the ephemera pack makes card making easy! Preprinted and precut elements are ready to add to the cards without any extra prep! The pack includes a variety of shapes including flowers, frames, tags, stars and more! There are also vellum and foiled elements which are amazing!

For my cards I have kept the designs simple, and have only stamped a sentiment from a variety of stamp sets. I have really allowed the ephemera elements to be the hero of the projects!

The possibilities are endless with the Abstract Beauty card pack & ephemera pack. Having the coordinating cards & envelopes helps you to skip the prep work and get straight to the fun! Each unique card base includes watercolour wash designs and you can add as little or as much stamping and embellishing that you like.

Another Card With Scraps!

Recently I have been playing with the Flowering Tulips stamp set, and I've had some leftover pieces and scraps sitting on my desk. Today I decided it was time to put them to good use!

The Flowering Tulips stamp set contains a variety of budding tulips allowing you to create your perfect bouquet to send to someone special. This set is really fun to play with, and the sentiments are modern in style.

For my card, I used up some tulips and leaves that I had leftover from previous projects, and I was even able to use up some offcuts of ribbon for a simple ribbon flagged embellishment.

The sentiment was taken from another stamp set set, called Boughs & Blossoms.

Demonstrator Training Blog Hop March 2022 featuring Grassy Grove!

Thank you for joining us for the Monthly Blog Hop! I'm super excited to have you hop along and gather ideas and creative inspiration.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can jump from blog to blog easily. Make sure you check out all of the amazing projects!

This month, I have used the Grassy Grove stamp set for my thank you cards. How exciting!

The Grassy Grove stamp set is definitely a staple in your craft room! You can bring the beauty of the natural world into your craft room with the hills, grasses and trees images from the stamp set. Stamp the images in colours for your scene or simply use black as a silhouette. The stamps have subtle texture built in for natural looking shading and highlighting, making this a perfect set for any occasion!

For my project this month, I have paired the stamp set with the stunningly beautiful New Horizons designer series paper. The hand painted scenery on the New Horizons paper is the perfect backdrop for my silhouette stamped images. The card layouts are a simple design, using black and white cardstock to allow the nature scenes to be the focal point.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! As mentioned, this is a blog hop, so make sure you 'hop' along to all the blogs and check out all the amazing projects! Click on the links below to visit each blog.

Colour Challenge Time!

The colour challenge for the Global Design Project #GDP333 challenge features Mint Macaron, Garden Green & Balmy Blue.

This was a fun challenge because I normally wouldn't use this combination of colours.

For my entry I created this birthday card using the Blessings Of Home stamp set.
