Fun Tri-Fold Pocket Card

Today I am sharing with you a fun tri-fold pocket card featuring the Bloom Where You're Planted suite from Stampin' Up!

I had so much fun creating this, with the plant images fussy cut directly from the patterned paper! This is a simple way to create a 'wow' card for those extra special occasions.

Kindness Cards Kit!

Case The Designer Challenge!

For the Global Design Project's case the designer challenge #340 I have decided to use the stunning new Sun Prints suite of products.

You can create unique, organic-feel paper crafting projects with the Sun Prints Suite Collection. Each piece is designed to work with and complement one another, from the mix of organic and botanical imagery included in the stamp set to the eclectic selection of coloured patterns and greenery designs on the paper. The cyanotype style of the paper is sure to impress when included in your paper projects. 

Here I have featured the designer series paper in two ways, first as a layer in the background and second I have used the detailed dies to cut directly from the paper. The Fern 3D embossing folder has also been featured to help ground the focal point of the card.

This month, I have used the Paradise Palms stamp set for my thank you cards. How exciting!

The Paradise Palms stamp set has a relaxing island vibe which is wonderful for stamping your ideal scene. Stamp a single palm tree ripe with coconuts just basking in the warm sunshine, or stamp several palms together - you can't go wrong! This is the perfect set for card making with all-occasion sentiments that convey the warmest of wishes. The coordinating Palms dies are the perfect accompaniment to the stamp set, allowing you to easily create detailed palm trees, coconuts, greenery and more! 

For this months project, I have gone with a fun colour combo for an alternative look. The card base and layer are Crumb Cake, embossed with the Macrame embossing folder. I have then used a piece of DSP in Crushed Curry (sneak peek - new product alert!) and a hint of blue (Starry Sky - new colour alert!). Finally I have stamped the palm trees and sun images from the stamp set and a lovely all-occasion sentiment and finished off with some basic embellishments.

Colour Challenge With Some Of My Fav's!

Today I am playing along with a colour challenge featuring Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Soft Succulent and Basic Grey. I decided to use two of my old favourite stamp sets that are both retiring at the end of the month - Very Versailles and Tasteful Touches - for this simple stamped card.
